WHO WE ARE
RESPECT Refugiados is an NGO committed to raise awareness, especially among youngsters, about refugees and refugee issues. Encouraging activism among youth, we act as a bridge between refugee children and non-refugee children through letter exchange. We also give trainings and work in education for development, empowering those in need by providing the tools for a better life. We are members of the RESPECT International network .

RESPECT was born in early 2006 when several volunteers from RESPECT International, a Canadian-based NGO working to support refugee communities, decided to start carrying on RESPECT International’s activities also from Europe, under a new organisation but following the same principles, sharing the same brand and collaborating together for the benefit of those most in need. The project was supported by other local volunteers with extensive experience in international cooperation that joined forces to create RESPECT Refugiados.
