RESPECT offers trainings in self-study format in an effort to provide to general society, volunteers and professionals with the tools and the knowledge to know more and work better in all cooperation for development-related environments. The courses are always available for subscription and include and end-of-training exam that leads you to a certificate of completion.

Soft Skills and Management Abilities in NGOs

Becoming a Professional Trainer

This course is designed to help the individual who is not (or at least not yet) a professional trainer. The focus is on the supervisor, manager or brand new trainer who has been asked to present or train a group of individuals; a task for which he or she has little prior experience. This on the job training can strike fear into the heart of the most skilled and experienced employee.

Conflict Resolution, learning to deal with difficult people and situations

What is critical for resolving conflict is developing an understanding of, and a trust in, shared goals. This training teaches you several strategies for coping with conflict and dealing with people and difficult situations. Knowing when and how to use these techniques can make you a more effective leader.

  • How do the online self-study courses work?
    Exactly as a normal course. Once you have subscribed you will gain access to all the training materialĀ  that you can download it to your computer. You can study the material at your own pace depending on your timetables and send your questions or doubts via emailĀ  to our teachers.

  • How do I get a diploma?
    Together with all the material, you will find an exam. At any time you wish, after having completed the course, you can do the exam and send it to us. After correction,we will send you the certificate of completion.

  • What is the deadline to finish the training and send the exam?
    There is no deadline, it all depends on you. You can adjust your learning period according to your needs and obligations. Whenever you finish, you send the exam to us.

  • How can I subscribe to the courses?
    Very easy. Just follow the instructions at the end of each course page.

  • Is it possible to ask questions and resolve doubts?
    Anytime!. The only thing you have to do is to send us an email to respect@respectrefugiados.org and we will answer you asap.

  • How do I gain access to the training material after subscribing?
    Once you pay you will be redirected to a page that will grant you access to the material.

  • Can I add these courses to my cv?
    Sure! Apart from what you are going to learn, a diploma will certify your participation and succesful completion after the final exam. RESPECT is, more over, an NGO registered in Spain as an educational organisation and recognised by the Council of Europe, so our trainings do have international recognition.
